The post plays an important role in contributing to the current and future financial viability of the organization by identifying, cultivating and soliciting prospective donors and building and sustaining relationships with current donors. The FDO, PG will significantly grow the number and size of bequests as well as other planned gifts. In carrying out their duties within a fully integrated fund development program, the FDO, PG will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders across Canada.The FDO, PG is a true people person with great communication skills and empathy. The Role: 
The Coordinator, Group Services provides operational and administrative support to the respite and camp 
departments. 
 
What your Day Looks Like: 
 • Conducts ongoing client and family intake meetings, screenings, and assessments to determine program fit 

and eligibility. Collaborate with Supervisor to develop cohesive group pairings (staff/client). 
 • Manages program registration to include: creating programs on Amilia, registering clients, managing client 

waitlists, making registration adjustments, updating Salesforce etc. 
 • Manages program registrations finances to include; processing refunds, liaising with accounting, creating 

and implementing payment plans, creating custom invoices, adjusting payments based on program grants 
and subsidies, etc. Conducting orientations, collecting client documents, liaising with families to develop 
ISP’s, and collecting caregiver data. 

 • Program development and quality assurance oversight to include: pre/post data collection, develop and 
administer parent training materials, monitoring current program offerings in the sector. 

 • Assists Supervisor with hiring and onboarding staff to include: pre-screening interviews, training staff (e.g. 
CPI, policies and procedures, etc.), attending job fairs for recruitment. 

 • Assists Supervisor with developing and planning marketing material to include: social media posts, 
community outreach, updating website, newsletter content, attending program fairs. 

 • Manages client related documentation to include: collecting, reviewing and organizing all client 
documentation, ensuring documentation is up to date, sharing relevant updates with team members, 
creating ISP in partnership with caregivers, etc. 

 • Meets regularly with Program Coordinator and Intake team. 
 • Assist with ensuring programs areas and clients understand and follow all GCA polices and procedures to 

include Health and Safety responsibilities. 
 • Participates in team and staff meetings regularly and to contribute to program development initiatives 

within the team and across the GCA. 
 • Other administrative and program duties as assigned.

You will help teachers thrive through meaningful, individualized support rooted in local context, equity, and professional growth. Specific responsibilities include:<ul>	<li>Build and maintain professional, trusting relationships with approximately 20–25 teachers, primarily from the 2025 cohort, working in northern First Nations.</li>	<li>Travel to First Nations communities up to 8–10 weeks per year to provide in-school coaching, lead professional development, and build relationships with local education leaders.</li>	<li>Collaborate with the Teacher Development team to deliver support projects and programming for the Gakino’amaage teachers (including professional development, peer support, and personal support).</li>	<li>Collaborate with the Teacher Development team to create and implement new support resources and initiatives based on teacher, education assistant, and community partner needs and requests.</li>	<li>Support other programmatic and operational activities within specific region (e.g. recruitment activities, relationship-building with Indigenous and education bodies, Advisory Council meetings, and fundraising meetings).</li>	<li>Perform administrative and reporting tasks using Microsoft, Google Suite, ClickUp, Mail Chimp, Mail Merge, and Salesforce, as well as show willingness to learn new systems as needed.</li>	<li>Work with the Gakino’amaage team to effectively plan and deliver all activities throughout the Summer Enrichment Program, taking ownership over specific portfolio responsibilities as assigned.</li>	<li>Collaborate with the Gakino’amaage team to ensure that teacher and education assistant experiences inform programming initiatives.</li>	<li>Support the Teacher Recruitment team and Education Assistant Program lead in implementing the 2025-2026 Summer Enrichment Program and 2025-2026 school initiatives.</li>	<li>Support the department's quarterly planning, annual planning, and review processes to reach and advance the goals of the department and organization.</li>	<li>Support the Teacher Development and Gakino’amaage team in other ways as needed.</li></ul>Your Fit<ul>	<li>Thrive on connection and purpose.
