The service is a 7 day a week mobile crisis intervention and outreach service focused on individuals 65 years of age and older who have a mental health and/or substance use issues, with some exceptions for individuals 55 - 64 years of age, including those who are homeless.&nbsp; The service area is the City of Toronto. The population of focus for this service is frail, marginalized, at risk seniors, who may be homeless or vulnerably housed, living in poverty, and/or new immigrants.&nbsp;&nbsp; This position is responsible to WoodGreen’s Crisis Supervisor.&nbsp;&nbsp; This position is expected to carry out the services in accordance to WoodGreen’s policies and procedures, COSS’ mandate and procedures, Ministry of Health, and health related authorities, and all relevant legislation. They have the know-how and desire to develop digital engagement strategies, do in-person community organizing, and build alliances with grassroots activists and organizations.&nbsp;MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (This is not an exhaustive list of duties to be performed):Strategy, Planning and Execution:<ul><li>Lead the development of the annual campaign strategy with relevant policy colleagues and delivery of overall campaign goals, in line with Oxfam Canada’s public engagement strategy.</li><li>Foster collaboration across departments and units to ensure aligned and cohesive public campaigning activities.</li><li>Follow current affairs, Oxfam International working groups, allied organizations’ activities, and government and corporate relations on various thematic files led by the Oxfam policy team in order to identify opportunities and lead the delivery of campaign activities to advance Oxfam Canada’s influencing goals.</li><li>Lead on monitoring and evaluation of campaign performance, using key performance indicators and evaluating successes and challenges on a regular basis.</li><li>Hold relationships with a wide range of vendors involved in event planning, including negotiating contracts and logistics.</li><li>Lead in the development and implementation of project plans, including budgets.</li><li>Identify and support fundraising opportunities for campaign actions.</li></ul>Engagement and Mobilization:<ul><li>Deliver strategic campaigning and outreach activities including, but not limited to, email campaigns, digital and offline petition drives, public events and speaking engagements, media stunts and social media activities and creative engagement initiatives – online and offline - as defined by campaign plans.</li><li>Lead the development of digital and in-person public education and influencing activities on Oxfam Canada’s advocacy priorities.</li><li>Create campaign actions and pages on Engaging Networks, and stay on top of new developments and trends on Engaging Networks to maximize campaign impact.</li><li>Create materials for ongoing campaign and outreach work, such as presentations, backgrounders, handout sheets and display materials, and source campaign swag and stunt materials.</li><li>Work closely with other Outreach, Policy, Fundraising and Communications team members to develop materials, resources and strategies to inform and engage Oxfam supporters in campaigning and public education activities.</li><li>Lead the development and run initiatives that mobilize people to participate in campaigns and engage in advocacy work on Oxfam Canada’s priorities.&nbsp;</li></ul>Networking and Alliance Building:<ul><li>Build relationships with a wide range of diverse community-based allies across the country to increase collaboration and joint advocacy and campaigning in support of women’s rights and gender equality.</li><li>Liaise, develop and maintain working relationships with relevant organizations, coalitions and individuals involved in campaigns across Canada and internationally to increase collaboration and joint advocacy and campaigning in support of women’s rights and gender equality.</li><li>Lead engagement with campus groups and support their engagement in our campaigns.</li><li>Be a visible and dynamic ambassador for Oxfam Canada with volunteers, allies and coalitions and within the Oxfam confederation.</li></ul>Other duties as required.&nbsp;REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE &amp;
