Established in 2016, Fetch + Releash is a volunteer run dog rescue dedicated to saving dogs in need. Our foster dogs come from a variety of different backgrounds such as pounds and shelters, strays and surrendered pets, both locally and abroad. About Toronto Cat Rescue: 

Toronto Cat Rescue (TCR) is a volunteer-driven, registered charity that rescues over 2500 cats 
each year through the efforts of over 1,000 dedicated volunteers. TCR is not a shelter, but a 
network of foster homes that stretches throughout the Greater Toronto Area, and Region of 
Waterloo. We take in cats who are then socialized and housed in foster homes until they are 
ready for adoption. 

Reports to: Executive Director 

About the position: 

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of our Region of 
Waterloo (WR) chapter. This hands-on position is responsible for managing the WR volunteer 
centre facility, supporting rescue operations from intake to adoption in the WR area, while 
liaising with staff to standardize protocols. The ideal candidate is highly organized, 
compassionate, and experienced in working with animals and volunteers. 

As an organization with a large volunteer base, this role will be required to work outside of a 
traditional 9 – 5 work week. The demands of the role are greatest in the evenings and 
weekends; however, daytime duties are also required. The selected candidate must be willing to 
work flexible hours. During the busy season, hours worked beyond 37.5 per week will be 
negotiated as lieu time with the ED. 

Key Responsibilities: 

â Volunteer Centre Management: 
 Oversee the daily operations of the volunteer centre, ensuring it is clean, 
well-organized, and welcoming for both volunteers and cats. 

â Cat Intake &amp; Triage: 
 Assess incoming cats for health, behavior, and placement suitability; work with volunteer 
leads and fosters as needed to ensure proper care plans are in place. 
Good comprehension of empirical treatment aligned with rescue/shelter medicine best 
practises 

â Store Placement Coordination: 
 Assist in coordinating the placement and rotation of cats in partner retail locations for 
adoption visibility and care continuity. 


â Volunteer Recruitment &amp; Training: 
 Actively recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers to support various aspects of the 
rescue program, from cat care to administrative support. 

â Data Entry &amp; CRM Management: 
 Accurately input and update cat and volunteer records in the organization’s CRM 
system, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting. 

â Transportation: 
Coordinate transportation with the assistance of Volunteer drivers to get cats to their next 
destination 

â Team Support: 
 Provide ongoing support to lead volunteers, staff members, and other internal 
stakeholders to maintain high-quality care and smooth program operations. 
 
Qualifications: 

â Post-secondary education in animal care discipline required (i.e. Animal Health 
â Technician or Veterinary Technology program). 
â Experience working or volunteering in animal rescue, shelter, or veterinary settings 

preferred 
â Strong organizational and multitasking skills 
â Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities 
â Proficient in using computers and CRM/database systems, including google suites

Other details 

Full time salary of $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year commensurate with level of education, 
credentials, and experience. TCR also offers paid vacation and a benefit plan. 

Approximately 20% of this position will occur remotely, and the position shares on-call duties 
with others. On-site work will be required 4 days per week and when there are large rescues, 
events, and other circumstances which include weekend duties. Travel to Toronto will be 
required throughout the year for staff meetings, large intakes, and Events

Description As a Treasure Tails Volunteer you will report to the Store Manager, but will regularly liaise with fellow teammates to coordinate allocation of jewellery-related activities. The GTHS Animal Hospital is one of the only accessible spay/neuter hospitals serving Bruce, Grey and part of Simcoe County that performs&nbsp;3,000 surgeries annually (an average of 50 surgeries per week), and subsidizing ~$770K in veterinary costs each year.To promote pet wellness and safety, 1,858 rabies vaccinations and 1,767 microchips are administered to GTHS animal residents and community clients on an annual basis.Description Reporting to the Director of Medicine and Hospital Registered Veterinary Technician, the Hospital Assistant Volunteer will be responsible for maintaining the Operating Room and prep area, as well as overseeing the maintenance and packing of surgical instruments. Roles and Responsibilities<ul>	<li>Greets and welcomes the public as they arrive at the GTHS booth for events or at the Animal Centre</li>	<li>Promotes the Capital Campaign to the public, communicating the vision for the RCPP and illustrating the need for the new facility</li>	<li>Liaises with the GTHS assigned Lead to ensure required materials are available to complete task assigned and reports any damage or losses incurred</li>	<li>Coordinates pick-up / drop-off of the GTHS Event Kit, banners, folding tables, posters, coin boxes, etc. before / after use</li>	<li>Accepts donations (financial or in-kind)</li>	<li>Distributes promotional materials</li>	<li>Proper set-up and take down of event and display materials</li></ul>Qualifications<ul>	<li>18 years of age minimum</li>	<li>A commitment to animal welfare</li>	<li>Neat and tidy appearance</li>	<li>Self-motivated</li>	<li>Multi-tasking skills</li>	<li>Good communication skills</li>	<li>Friendly and personable attitude</li>	<li>Customer service experience is an asset</li>	<li>Able to work independently or within a small team, and with the public</li>	<li>Able to lift event materials if assigned for set-up and take down</li>	<li>Access to transportation</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONS<ul>	<li>Physical demands of the position include standing for a prolonged period, as well as carrying and lifting (Event Kit, folding tables, banners, etc.).</li>	<li>Physical limitations should be communicated to Lead, to accommodate where possible.</li></ul>

This is NOT a traditional fundraising role – our Fundraising Committee Members use their unique talents and interests to make our events a success (and thereby help us raise funds).&nbsp; Apply today to make a difference by using your organizational, planning, admin, sales, networking and/or people skills!Our ‘signature’ events planned for 2025 are Walk for Pets – June 14, Golf for Pets – July 7 and the Furball Gala – October 18.As a result of as our programs and services, every year more than 1500 homeless cats and dogs are provided shelter, 1300 animals find a new home, 4000 youth are positively impacted, approximately 3000 spay/neuter/dental/specialized surgeries are performed, and in excess of 1000 pets are supported through our Pet Pantry program.Description Fundraising Committee Members have drive, passion and ideas to support the implementation and success of our events – all while having fun! Each Committee Member will assume specific roles and responsibilities based on their strengths (for example: marketing, networking, people management, fundraising, sourcing…), and will be involved from inception and initial planning, all the way through to execution of the event itself and post-event activities. Bring your strengths but be prepared to pitch in! Members will provide progress updates at committee meetings so, as a team, we can evaluate where we are and realign when necessary; to ensure the success of our events. Committee members may also be expected to develop existing and potential sponsor / donor relationships.
