Join Empowered Futures as a Business Development Manager and play a key role in elevating EF’s visibility, building relationships, and strengthening community and sponsor engagement. This role focuses on drafting compelling outreach materials, prospecting partnerships, and driving external engagement to support EF’s mission of empowering emerging adults as they transition into adulthood.

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, client relationship management, contract negotiation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to expand the company’s market presence and achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

• Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and outreach campaigns.

• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align growth strategies.

• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with clients and partners.

• Monitor industry developments and competitor activities.

• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Required Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
