Volunteer Merchandising Specialist - Design

Seaside Sustainability is a nonprofit organization based in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Seaside Sustainability's mission is to protect and restore our oceans by educating people of all ages about the critical issues that threaten our environment; promoting best practices for sustainability; and inspiring meaningful advocacy and hands-on action. Seaside works with schools, cities and towns, environmental groups, technology companies, and individuals. Together, we strive to ensure the healthy future of oceans, rivers, wetlands, and estuaries around the world.
We are Looking for:
We are looking for a volunteer who has knowledge and experience in merchandising design through various tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite or InDesign). The ideal candidate will help build creative new designs for the e-commerce store, and they should be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with the opportunity to shape merchandise designs from the ground up.
What You’ll be Working on:
- Designing new merchandise for our organization
- Design of the store
- New ideas for t-shirts, sweaters, etc.
Additional Information
As a Volunteer Merchandise Specialist, you will be working closely with the Executive Director and our dedicated merchandise strategy specialist.
Duration
- Availability for 10 hours per week (flexible)
- Duration: 2 months (flexible)
