No previous experience with math is necessary for volunteers and all training is provided by Big Brothers. This program is offered virtually and in-person in Greater Vancouver. The Director, Philanthropy and Engagement will play a pivotal role in advancing fundraising efforts through meaningful, relational, and efficient donor experience, while envisioning the growth of the development team.Nature and Scope of Your Role<ul><li>Contacts: This is an external facing position representing FFTP-Canada and requires significant levels of networking and relational engagement. ABOUT CAMP POTLATCHCamp Potlatch, a wilderness Summer Camp and Outdoor Centre located on 133 acres along the picturesque shores of Howe Sound, is operated by BGC South Coast BC, which provides a wide range of social development and recreational services to children, youth, and families in the Lower Mainland.Camp Potlatch is a rustic wilderness site that provides a natural gateway into the rugged landscape of British Columbia’s South Coast. Sandy beaches and unspoiled hiking territory create an idyllic environment to work, explore and play! Even though it is less than an hour from Vancouver, the camp is truly isolated in pristine wilderness and is only accessible by boat. Adventure starts here!SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITILIES&nbsp;Reporting to the Director of Camp and Facilities, the Camp Potlatch Coordinator will act as a key member of the leadership team at Camp and fulfill a wide range of duties relating to Camp programs, facilities, administration, marketing &amp; promotion, and human resources.&nbsp;The Coordinator position involves overseeing the day-to-day functioning of Camp Potlatch during the summer season and the Outdoor Centre programs during the spring and fall seasons. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESThe Counselling Practice Supervisor oversees the counselling component of services provided to participants of BGC counselling programs.
