This is a part-time position (approximately 29 hours/week)&nbsp;with flexibility and the opportunity for additional hours during peak periods (year-end, audits, builds).Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage all aspects of accounting independently, including:<ul><li>Data entry and payroll preparation (hourly and salary)</li><li>Statutory filings completed on time (payroll remittance, WCB, PST, GST)</li><li>Invoice processing</li><li>Processing and recording donations</li><li>General Ledger entries</li><li>Preparation of bank deposits</li><li>Prepare financial reports as required</li><li>Assist with grant application as necessary</li><li>Cheque preparation and monthly journal entries</li><li>Bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Preparing monthly financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet)</li><li>Assisting senior management with the annual operating budget</li><li>Maintaining organized records and adapting to changing priorities</li><li>Meeting deadlines and supporting financial reporting needs</li></ul></li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Experience with Sage 50 Desktop preferred; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus</li><li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data</li><li>Must be able to work independently</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365 suite</li><li>Must be bondable and willing to pass an RCMP security review</li></ul>Hours &amp; Perks<ul><li>Part-Time: Approximately 29 hours/week</li><li>Additional hours during busy periods</li><li>Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, collaborative team culture, and a fun office environment</li></ul>

Our relationship-based approach empowers partners to create meaningful, lasting impact for children and youth.&nbsp;Grants and Partnerships Coordinator&nbsp;The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Grants in Canada to support the Foundation’s work with children’s charities across Canada. This position plays a key role in strengthening relationships with partner organizations, ensuring that grants are well-managed, reporting is meaningful, and impact is clearly understood.The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator Will:&nbsp;● Work closely with the Director of Grants to support the Foundation’s Canadian portfolio and partner charities.&nbsp;● Act as a bridge between the Foundation and its partners, guiding them through the grant approval, reporting, and review processes.&nbsp;● Review and analyze partner reports and milestones, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions and preparing concise updates for the Foundation’s Board.&nbsp;● Coordinate key grant documents, schedule meetings, and prepare materials for the Foundation’s Board to review.&nbsp;● Build knowledge of partner organizations and the sector by attending events and researching potential new partners that align with the Foundation’s mission.The Successful Candidate Will:&nbsp;The successful candidate will be highly organized and proactive. They will be able to manage multiple priorities while supporting the Foundation’s work with partner charities. They will bring strong project management skills and experience in producing clear, concise, and insight-driven reports for the Foundation’s Board.&nbsp;Key Qualifications Include:&nbsp;● Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings and preparing materials and documents for Board review.&nbsp;● Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making.● Experience in philanthropy or the charitable sector, ideally with a focus on children and youth.&nbsp;● Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.&nbsp;● Strong project management skills with the ability to provide clear actionable insights to the Foundation’s Board.&nbsp;● An understanding of legal and financial management, program operations, governance, and organizational structures in the non-profit sector (an asset).
