Position SummaryThe Operations &amp; Finance Manager oversees the financial, administrative, and operational systems of Story Money Impact, ensuring the organization runs efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.This role supports the Executive Director in translating vision into execution, managing business affairs, and sustaining a culture of collaboration, care, and excellence. It’s an ideal position for an impact-driven, detail-oriented professional with experience in non-profit or charity management — and appreciation for familiarity with business affairs in the media or cultural sector.Additionally, we are a very small team, so tasks and roles can shift around depending on workloads. This type of flexibility requires an adaptive approach rather than fixed job definitions. Together, we get the job done, and we try and look after each other as we do so.Key Position Aims-Oversee the daily operations of the organization to meet organizational goals.-Model and support a culture of collaboration, care, impact, and excellence.-Strengthen the financial and administrative capacity of SMI.-Support the Executive Director in turning vision and program development into execution.-Contribute to the health, operations, and long-term impact of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Responsibilities-Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger with assistance from SMI’s contracted bookkeeper using Quickbooks Online-Preparation of timely financial reporting for SMI’s board as required and liaise with external accountants for annual financial statement review-Provide financial reporting support as required for funders in the grant application and program reporting process-Liaise with Executive Director to develop annual budget and provide strategic financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making-Maintain program cost reporting and carefully steward resources received/secured for programs-Develop, implement and maintain internal financial controls and policies-Ensure compliance with GAAP (ASNPO). Parental Leave contract; 7 hrs per week -Thursdays)&nbsp;Posting Number: 2025-23Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre (DPNCHC) is a multi-service community agency committed to furthering community development/capacity building and health promotion activities for all ages. A United Way Agency, the Centre specializes in programs ranging from early years to youth, isolated adults, health, and seniors. The Seniors’ ACS Program Worker will assist the team to plan, develop, promote, implement, and evaluate activities and events for the Afro Caribbean Seniors Program.
