Join us and be part of our story, making a real difference in our students’ lives!For more information about the history of the program please visit: <a href="https://clientportal.workingwomencc.org/on-your-mark" target="_blank">On Your Mark Academic Support Program</a>Please see below for more&nbsp;information&nbsp;about the Volunteer Supervisor position and how to apply.&nbsp;The OYM program&nbsp;will operate in an&nbsp;ONLINE FORMAT ONLY&nbsp;for the full 2025/2026&nbsp;school year.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Position Available:&nbsp;ONLINE VOLUNTEER SUPERVISOR (After-school hours and/or Saturday, grades 1-12)Reports to:&nbsp;Program CoordinatorsTime Commitment: Online, after-school (minimum&nbsp;2 hours per week); After-school program runs Monday to Friday from&nbsp;4:30pm to 6:30pm&nbsp;OROnline, Saturday (minimum 2 hours per week); Saturday program runs every Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00 pm.The program starts at the end of October 2025&nbsp;and runs until the end of May 2026&nbsp;and we accept applications all year round.Supervisors will work closely with elementary and/or secondary students within the Toronto Catholic and District School Boards and&nbsp;will act as a liaison between Program Coordinator(s) and other volunteer tutors by maintaining attendance, assisting with tracking records and ensuring the online sessions run safely and smoothly.Who can become a Volunteer Online Supervisor?<ul>	<li>MUST HAVE&nbsp;EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN ENGLISH</li>	<li>Maintain and collect records of attendance.</li>	<li>Update Program Coordinators of any volunteer absences and/or concerns that may have surfaced via email within a timely manner after the support session</li>	<li>Assist in regular reporting and tracking of students’ progress, accomplishments and areas of difficulty to Program Coordinator(s).</li>	<li>Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education and learning.</li>	<li>Email tutor or student if they are late to session for any update</li>	<li>Provide updates online to students tutors if the student or tutor is running late.</li>	<li>Supervisors and students/tutors meet online a minimum of once a week for 2 hours.All volunteers are welcome to volunteer as many days as they choose, with the minimum being a commitment of one day a week.&nbsp;</li>	<li>Support sessions are done in ENGLISH.&nbsp; Knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish an asset but NOT necessary.</li>	<li>All volunteers must have a computer reliable internet connection, a quiet place to run the session with camera ON.&nbsp;</li>	<li>Vulnerable Sector Screening will be&nbsp;requested *</li>	<li>Minimum age of 18*</li></ul>* Costs related to police clearance are covered by OYM. * Unless you are a former student of the program or a returning VolunteerGeneral Information:<ol>	<li>The program starts&nbsp;October 2025&nbsp;and ends May 2026.
