About Us

Aunt Leah’s Place is a non-profit organization that helps prevent youth from foster care from becoming homeless and vulnerable mothers from losing custody of their children. To support them on their journey to self-sufficiency, we provide housing, Lifeskills, education and employment services.

Term: 12–18 months (milestone-based contract); Full-Time 37.5 hrs per week, Monday -Friday

Location: Hybrid (Metro Vancouver); works primarily at Aunt Leah’s 816-20th Street, New Westminster office, but will also regularly visit Aunt Leah’s Vancouver office and various other sites.

Reports to: Executive Director

Aunt Leah’s is seeking a highly skilled systems thinker and implementation lead to support a critical phase of organizational development.

This contract role will lead the design, integration, and implementation of service delivery systems across programs as the organization prepares for a new 90-unit housing development and strengthens post-accreditation infrastructure.

This is a build-and-transfer role—focused on creating systems that can be sustained by the existing management team.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including vulnerable persons)
  • Adheres to the Society’s Code of Ethics

What You’ll Do

You will work closely with the Executive Director and management team to:

  • Develop an organization-wide service delivery framework
  • Align programs across housing, employment, education, and life skills supports
  • Translate CARF accreditation standards into day-to-day operational systems
  • Standardize documentation, policies, and supervision structures
  • Design systems to support new and existing housing developments
  • Integrate metrics, quality assurance, and continuous improvement practices
  • Support implementation and embed systems across teams
  • Assess leadership structure and provide recommendations for long-term sustainability

What You’ll Deliver

  • Service delivery framework and cross-program pathways
  • Documentation and SOP standardization
  • CARF-aligned accountability and compliance systems
  • KPI dashboards and quality improvement processes
  • Housing service model readiness tools
  • Organizational structure assessment and recommendations

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has leadership experience in nonprofit service delivery systems, housing, or social services
  • Is skilled in organizational design, systems integration, and implementation
  • Has experience with accreditation frameworks (CARF or similar)
  • Can move between strategy and execution
  • Is comfortable working without formal authority and influencing across teams
  • Has strong facilitation, documentation, and project leadership skills

Contract Structure

This is a milestone-based contract:

  • Phase 1 (4 months): Assessment & CARF Integration – $30,000
  • Phase 2 (6 months): Systems Build & Documentation – $45,000
  • Phase 3 (optional, 6 months): Stabilization & Structural Recommendations – $35,000

Total potential value: $110,000
