No previous experience with math is necessary for volunteers and all training is provided by Big Brothers. This program is offered virtually and in-person in Greater Vancouver. We are committed to social change through learning, collaboration, and advocacy.&nbsp; &nbsp;Job Summary&nbsp;&nbsp;The HOYO (Healing our Young Ones) Child Therapist &amp; Case Manager will provide mental health care that is child or youth centered, and trauma informed and ensure the security and safety of the care environment.&nbsp; Areas of responsibility include conducting assessments to understand the emotional, psychological, and social needs of children and youth, trauma counselling and wellness (both in-person and group settings), project development, therapeutic program design, case management, children &amp; youth workshops with a focus on healing, violence prevention and the well-being and mental health of the shelters’ child and youth residents.
