About AIM&nbsp;<a href="https://autisminmind.org/" target="_blank">https://autisminmind.org/</a> Autism In Mind Children’s Charity (AIM) was founded in 2011 by Suki Choi, who aimed to provide children with autism an equal opportunity in life. The charity began with just one child. When Suki first started her daycare business in Markham, she was approached by a family whose son had been on the government waitlist for autism therapy for four years. Moved by their situation, Suki organized a fundraiser. The generous response from the community and daycare parents inspired her to do even more. Suki and a team of volunteers began fundraising on behalf of other local families to help their children access professional therapy. They also organized free Social Saturdays for children with autism. The momentum from these small acts of kindness grew rapidly. Within just a few years, AIM became a registered charity in Canada and emerged as one of the leading service providers for children with autism in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). AIM transitioned from being solely volunteer-driven to a team of over 60 full-time staff members, offering a multidisciplinary approach to providing direct services for families and children with autism. Volunteer Opportunities

The Revenue Development Chair is a key volunteer leadership role responsible for building and guiding a team to meet the annual fundraising goals of Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect (SBE). You will lead the strategy and execution of fundraising efforts, including events, grants, and donor outreach, to ensure the financial sustainability of our mission to create safer communities.This role offers a rewarding opportunity to hone your leadership, strategic planning, and event management skills while making a tangible impact.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ol><li>Fundraising Strategy &amp; Execution</li></ol><ul><li>Develop and implement a diversified fundraising plan (events, campaigns, grants, sponsorships) to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.</li><li>Identify and research grant opportunities; coordinate the writing and timely submission of compelling grant applications.</li><li>Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.</li></ul>2. Volunteer Team Leadership &amp; Management<ul><li>Recruit, onboard, train, and schedule a team of volunteers for the Revenue Development Committee.</li><li>Foster a positive, collaborative, and effective team environment.</li><li>Lead regular committee meetings, set clear agendas, and document action items and decisions.</li></ul>3. Financial Oversight &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Develop project-specific budgets for fundraising initiatives and present them to the Executive Director for approval.</li><li>Track income and expenses against budgets for all events and campaigns.</li><li>Provide regular reports on fundraising progress and committee activities to the Executive Director.</li></ul>4.
