Volunteer Opportunity: Bring Your Accounting Skills to the OsteopathyBC Board

Are you an accountant, bookkeeper, or a finance professional who would like to contribute your expertise to a non-profit healthcare association?

OsteopathyBC (OBC) is seeking a public member with accounting or financial experience to join its Board of Directors as Treasurer.

As Treasurer, you would help the Board:

• Review financial statements and financial information.
• Support the development and oversight of the annual budget.
• Review financial policies and practices.
• Help ensure responsible stewardship of OBC’s resources.
• Support transparent financial reporting to the Board and membership.

OBC has a bookkeeper and engages an accounting firm annually to review its finances and complete its CRA filings. The Treasurer’s role is therefore primarily one of Board-level oversight, stewardship, and governance.
