Volunteer Mentors help children/youth build resiliency and provide support as they work through significant milestones in life. Aside from the satisfaction of have a lasting a positive impact on the life of a child/youth, mentors have fun too! Volunteers build long-lasting relationships with the child/youth they are matched with.

Description
Volunteers Mentors support children/youth 4 to 18 yrs.
A volunteer will:
- Work with the child/youth to plan age-appropriate activities in the community on a regular basis.
- Also work on goals established by the child/youth and family.
- Support that reinforces the child/youth’s culture and identity, is respectful and affirming and aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the agency.

Volunteers should:
- have good listening skills
- strong sense of commitment
- a willingness to work collaboratively and respectfully with the child/youth, Staff, and family members.

We are currently prioritizing volunteers who can drive children/youth as part of the role. We are committed to recruiting a diverse volunteer team that represents the community we so proudly serve.
