The Opportunity 
Inclusion Langley Society is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Director of 
Supported Living Services and to join our senior leadership team. This position requires a 
minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in supporting adults and 
transitioning youth with intellectual disabilities. This position is responsible for coordinating 
the services to approximately 40 supported individuals in both licensed and non-licensed 
staffed homes. Prior experience leading a dynamic service and a seasoned staff team is

About Supported Living Services 
Staffed Living is one supported living option that Community Living BC (CLBC) funds to help 
eligible adults live, with support, in the community. In Staffed Living services, people who are 
eligible for CLBC and approved for this service live in a home that is typically owned or 
operated by an organization and receive support from staff who work on a schedule. People 
supported in Staffed Living often require significant support to participate in their community. 
Each home may support between 1 to 4 people and must adhere to rigorous standards under 
CARF Accreditation and Licensing (where applicable). 

 
Ideal Candidate 
The successful applicant will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or 
equivalent, and at least 5 years’ experience in mid to senior level management role(s). The 
successful incumbent will work closely with an established senior leadership team to fulfill 
the mission and vision of the organization, while upholding core values. A proven commitment 
to the values and philosophy of the Community Living Movement is essential.

 • Oversee the provision of 20 unique Supported Living Programs. 
 • Ensure effective service delivery consistent with policy, legal, contractual, 

budgetary and other requirements.

Compensation 
We are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from

The Huron-Perth Centre is an accredited child and youth mental health Centre mandated 
to provide services to children and youth from birth to the age of eighteen, including 
caregivers, parents and families. We are a small organization, nestled in a beautiful mix of

Funded by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social 
Services, we are the Lead Agency for Huron and Perth, responsible for the delivery of child 
and youth mental health core services, collaborative service planning as well as providing 
youth justice, violence against women and services dedicated to child welfare.

What You will Do: 

As the Director of Staff Supervision and Professional Development, you will: 

 • Provide Leadership to the Centre’s clinical supervision model

How You Will be Supported: 

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be supported and supervised by the 
Executive Director while collaborating with the other members of the team: the Director of 
Programs and Services; the Business Manager and the Executive Assistant/HR Generalist. 

Our leadership team meets weekly for a check-in and every other week for a 3-hour 
meeting. We have access to various consultants in Human Resources, Organizational 
Health, EDI, and Organizational Effectiveness, as required, to support our leadership team, 
our annual work plan, and our capacity to meet our strategic directions.

Position Overview: 

Be a part of an award-winning women’s agency that operates from a feminist lens. The Manager, 
Shelter &amp; Housing at Street Haven provides operational leadership and direct supervision for all 
shelter and housing programs. This role ensures high-quality service delivery through effective staff 
management, program implementation, and day-to-day operations that align with Street Haven's 
mission of supporting Toronto's most vulnerable women. The position requires hands-on 
operational management combined with strategic thinking to develop and maintain programs that 
effectively address client needs while meeting funder requirements. This role will report to the 
Director of Shelter &amp; Housing Services. 

Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities 

Operational Management 

 • Oversee daily operations of all shelter and housing programs, ensuring smooth functioning 
and adherence to Street Haven's policies, procedures, and standards 

 • Develop, implement, and regularly update operational procedures for shelter and housing 
programs that align with best practices, funder requirements, and organizational goals 

 • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation, to the Director 
including weekly incident reports, daily logs, client records, and statistical reports 

 • Manage bed allocation, room assignments, and space utilization to maximize service 
capacity while ensuring client safety and comfort 

 • Oversee maintenance of facilities, identifying repair needs, coordinating with maintenance 
staff, and ensuring timely resolution of facility issues 

 • Monitor inventory of supplies, food, and program materials, ensuring adequate stock levels 
and efï¿½icient resource utilization 


 • Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures, conducting regular drills and 
ensuring staff preparedness for crisis situations

across our Federation with the ultimate goal that every child in Canada that needs mentoring

centralized data-collection, shared technology infrastructure, and national fundraising and

 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 
We are looking for a leader who thrives on working with diverse stakeholders to support federation-
wide change. The role requires a data-driven leader who is an empathetic listener and a creative

reports to the President and CEO and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The Vice-

Strategic Plan Development and Monitoring 
2026 will be an exciting year of creating the next Strategic Plan for BBBSC. Working closely with 
the CEO, Board of Directors, SLT and network of Agencies, the VP Strategy will co-create a multi-
year strategic plan with the goal that that every child in Canada that needs mentoring services can 
access them. 
 
Program and Operating Model Evolution 
BBBSC is evaluating our programs and service delivery model to determine what will best serve the 
children that access our mentoring programs. The VP Strategy will lead this work, including 
developing a current state analysis and a case for change including rationale, costs and 
implementation plans. 
 
Network Development 
The VP Strategy will oversee BBBSC’s Network Development services to ensure that Agencies have 
the support that they need to thrive, grow and demonstrate measurable outcomes. This includes 
evolving our performance data collection, analysis, and dashboard capabilities in order to provide 
advisory services to members. It will also include enhanced learning and development options and 
resources. 
 

 Transformation Project Management and Cross Functional Alignment 
The VP Strategy will develop BBBSC’s capacity to project-manage major business integration 
projects which includes developing internal teams, leveraging BBBSC’s agencies and national teams 
in network development, IT, operations, communications and resource mobilization capacity to 
align efforts in support of major initiatives. 

 
ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL 

 • Strategic oversight: Departmental accountability for achieving goals and strategies and over-
arching organizational performance. 

 • Strategic Planning: Accountability for definition and implementation of goals, objectives and 
strategies related to the portfolio. Creates, executes and reports on project plans. Monitors and 
present on execution and achievements. 

 • Financial budget: Sets annual budget and has departmental budget approval authority. 
 • Human Resources: Manages direct reports, including work and performance planning and 

contributes to overall workplace culture. 
 • Governance: Direct participation in BBBSC governance through Board Meetings and

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

speaking abilities.

 • Demonstrable competency in strategy, business analysis and case development.

 FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS 
Nous recherchons une personne dirigeante qui aime travailler avec diverses parties prenantes dans 
le but de soutenir le changement au sein de la fédération. Ce poste requiert une personne dirigeante 
axée sur les données, capable d’écoute empathique et dotée d’un esprit créatif, qui a déjà mené à bien 
des projets et obtenu des résultats positifs à long terme. Il s’agit d’un poste salarié relevant de la 
présidente et cheffe de la direction et faisant partie de l’équipe de la haute direction. La vice-
présidente ou le vice-président, Stratégie a les responsabilités suivantes : 


 
Élaboration et suivi du plan stratégique 
2026 sera une année stimulante, marquée par l’élaboration du prochain plan stratégique de GFGSC. 
En étroite collaboration avec la cheffe de la direction, le conseil d’administration, l’équipe de la haute 
direction et le réseau d’organismes, la vice-présidente ou le vice-président, Stratégie participera à 
l’élaboration d’un plan stratégique pluriannuel visant à permettre à chaque enfant au Canada qui a 
besoin de services de mentorat d’y avoir accès. 
 
Évolution des programmes et du modèle opérationnel 
GFGSC évalue actuellement ses programmes et son modèle de prestation de services afin de 
déterminer ce qui servira le mieux les enfants qui ont accès à ses programmes de mentorat. La vice-
présidente ou le vice-président, Stratégie dirigera ce travail, qui comprend l’analyse de la situation 
actuelle et la présentation d'arguments en faveur du changement, y compris la justification, les coûts 
et les plans de mise en Åuvre. 
 
Développement du réseau 
La vice-présidente ou le vice-président, Stratégie supervisera les services de développement du 
réseau de GFGSC afin de s’assurer que les organismes disposent du soutien nécessaire pour 
prospérer, croître et obtenir des résultats tangibles. Il s’agira notamment d’améliorer nos capacités 
en matière de collecte et d’analyse des données sur le rendement et de notre tableau de bord afin de 
fournir des services consultatifs aux membres. Cela comprendra également l’amélioration des 
options et des ressources en matière d’apprentissage et de perfectionnement. 
 

 Gestion de projets de transformation et harmonisation interfonctionnelle 
La vice-présidente ou le vice-président, Stratégie développera la capacité de GFGSC à gérer des 
projets d’intégration commerciale d’envergure, ce qui comprend la mise sur pied d’équipes internes, 
la mobilisation des organismes membres de GFGSC et des équipes nationales dans les domaines du 
développement du réseau, des technologies de l’information, des opérations, des communications et 
de la mobilisation des ressources afin d’harmoniser les efforts à l’appui des initiatives importantes.

 • Surveillance stratégique : Responsabilité du service pour la réalisation des objectifs, des 
stratégies et du rendement global de l’organisation. 

 • Planification stratégique : Responsabilité de la définition et de la mise en Åuvre des buts, des 
objectifs et des stratégies liés au portefeuille. Crée les plans de projet, les met en Åuvre et en 
rend compte. Surveille la mise en Åuvre et les réalisations et en rend compte. 

 • Budget financier : Établit le budget annuel et détient le pouvoir d’approbation du budget du 
service. 

 • Ressources humaines : Gère les subordonnées et subordonnés directs, y compris la

social, counseling, psychologie ou dans un domaine connexe;</li><li>Être membre en règle d’un ordre professionnel reconnu en Ontario accordant un droit de pratique en Ontario;</li><li>Être reconnu.e ou posséder les qualifications nécessaires pour être reconnu.e comme superviseur.e clinique par l’Ordre des psychothérapeutes autorisé.e.s de l’Ontario sera considéré un atout;</li><li>Posséder au moins 5 ans d’expérience en prestation de services cliniques idéalement en santé mentale;</li><li>Posséder au moins 2 ans d’expérience en supervision clinique au sein d’une équipe multidisciplinaire sera considéré comme un atout;</li><li>Connaissance des lois susceptibles d'influencer l'exercice de ses fonctions, notamment en matière de droit de la famille (garde, âge de consentement aux
