About The Festival

The Cabbagetown Festival, located in the heart of downtown Toronto, is the highlight of the year in the neighbourhood. From vendors selling handcrafted art, to bands playing live music, and food from across the globe, Cabbagetown Festival is something everyone in Toronto (and beyond) should experience.

The festival relies on passionate volunteers (just like you) donating a few hours of their time over the weekend. Our volunteers are imperative to the festival's success.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for volunteers who don't mind doing a little bit of everything.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Setup/ Takedown
  • Barricade Supervision
  • Volunteer Supervision
  • T Shirt Sales
  • Festival Attendee Assistance
  • Cleanup
  • KidZone Supervision
  • Audio Management *must have working cellphone with internet capabilities

Volunteer Perks

  • For students - Volunteer hours signed off by The Cabbagetown BIA
  • For professionals - supervision roles, and sound management experience
  • Hands-on skill building work experience with potential references

The Festival runs from 11:00AM - 8:00PM on Saturday, September 12th, and 11:00AM - 7:00PM on Sunday, September 13th
