Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet with, and empower, refugee newcomers to the community.Responsibilities:Volunteers will be assigned to their Welcome Groups and matched with refugee newcomer families based on things like availability, skills, location, shared interests, and family composition. This includes oversight and senior leadership of Meals on Wheels, Seniors’ Wellness programs, special initiatives and pilots, and the volunteer program.Working closely with the Executive Director, program staff, the Volunteer Coordinator and community partners, the Manager ensures that services are client-centred, safe, reliable, and well coordinated.
