Your help at Bingos ensures we can be excellent partners to Gaming Centres, directing funds raised to research and programs supporting the more than 4,300 Canadians living with the&nbsp;most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. In 2025, our Brampton Bingo volunteers alone have enabled us to receive $30,000 for much needed funding for cystic fibrosis research.&nbsp;&nbsp; What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>Be a friendly face, providing&nbsp;friendly customer service to Bingo players, welcoming and thanking them for supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada</li><li>Share information about games and promotions, answering questions</li><li>Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for gaming including wiping down machines, tidying tables, returning food trays to kitchen area&nbsp;as required</li><li>You may be asked to call out winning Bingo numbers</li></ul>Shift details &amp; Location: Shifts are currently Sundays from 12 – 2pm at Delta Bingo Brampton (91 Rutherford Road S Brampton, ON, L6W 3R5). What This Role Involves:The Client Care Specialist is the Credit Counselling Society's (CCS) first point of contact for the clients who call in looking for help with their finances. Telephone Aid Line Kingston (TALK) is a crisis, distress, befriending, and information phone line serving all members of the Kingston community. We are entirely volunteer-run, including all phone line volunteers, Executive Assembly positions, and Board of Directors. TALK is also a member of Distress and Crisis Ontario (DCO).TALK’s Board of Directors holds a minimum tenure of one year, with a maximum of four. They meet with the Executive Director on a monthly basis. Meetings occur electronically over Zoom. In between meetings, the Executive Director provides e-mail updates on financial and organizational matters. Currently, TALK has four members on the Board of Directors with staggered tenures. We are currently seeking up to three additional Board members. The Board currently operates as a whole rather than in committees, with the Executive Director acting as chair. From hosting workshops to producing educational content, we are committed to strengthening the voice of families in long-term care.To help make this possible, we are seeking an Intake Coordinator (English/French Bilingual).The Role:As the Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking support from Family Councils Ontario. You will assess client needs, coordinate service referrals, and ensure timely, compassionate, and culturally sensitive responses.Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Responding to phone and email inquiries and conducting intake interviews</li><li>Assessing clients’ eligibility and needs to connect them to FCO services</li><li>Scheduling consultations, workshops, and presentations</li><li>Maintaining accurate client records using FCO systems (HubSpot CRM)</li><li>Tracking intake metrics and client satisfaction feedback</li><li>Collaborating with the Outreach, Education, and Communications teams</li><li>Recommending process improvements and participating in team meetings</li></ul>Key Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in social work, community development, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in client intake or service navigation. Experience with CRM systems and the long-term care or nonprofit sector is an asset.
