Are you a woman with the skills and passion to become a Board member to help YWCA Durham grow and carry out its mission?

We are currently searching for exceptional members for our Board of Directors who will add value to our team. All applicants must be residents of Durham.

Our exceptional Board of Directors add significant value to our organization.

Together they work to advance the mission of the YWCA Durham. Their involvement encompasses governance, advocacy, public awareness and fundraising initiatives.

They work within a creative and collaborative process that supports the Executive Directors and engages Board members.

Our Board meets once a month in the evening, and participates on at least one Committee. Each member brings a unique skill set and background that enhances the overall strength of the Board.
