Board Director (Volunteer) – National Board of Directors
KIDS KICKING CANCER CANADA | HEROES CIRCLE
Help children in pain reclaim their strength
Join our National Board of Directors as a volunteer Director
Why this work matters
Children and youth experiencing chronic illnesses, neurological conditions, disabilities, trauma, violence, and other adverse childhood experiences endure pain, anxiety, and fear that medicine alone can’t reach. Kids Kicking Cancer Canada (KKCC) gives them something powerful in return: a sense of control.
Through the Heroes Circle, a martial-arts-based therapeutic program, children learn breathing, visualization and empowerment techniques that help them find peace and purpose during treatment. Our mission is to ease their pain and trauma while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Our vision: a national organization serving children in pain in every province of Canada.
We’re growing toward that vision, and we need governance-minded volunteers to help us get there.
Every child who experiences pain in Canada should have access to the Heroes Circle.
