In this key role, you’ll collaborate on volunteer recruitment, engagement, and support, working closely with the Director of Human Capital, Board of Directors, and team members to ensure our volunteer program aligns with our mission and vision. If you have experience in HR and/or volunteer management and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Depending on their availability, volunteers can choose to participate in any or all the following initiatives: Volunteer Program Development &amp; Strategy<ul>	<li>Ensure the volunteer management program aligns with The Volunteer Well’s mission, vision, and community engagement goals.</li>	<li>Develop and implement inclusive, accessible, and effective recruitment, screening, training, and retention strategies.</li>	<li>Provide strategic input to create new volunteer opportunities that support organizational objectives.</li></ul>Recruitment &amp; Community Partnerships<ul>	<li>Design and execute recruitment campaigns to attract a diverse and talented pool of volunteers.</li>	<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, businesses, schools, and organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.</li>	<li>Conduct interviews and assessments to ensure volunteers align with the organization’s values and needs.</li></ul>Training, Engagement &amp; Retention<ul>	<li>Oversee onboarding, orientation, and training programs to prepare volunteers for their roles.</li>	<li>Develop and implement recognition and appreciation initiatives to foster engagement and long-term retention.</li>	<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing ongoing support.</li>	<li>Conduct regular performance reviews and exit interviews, offering feedback and guidance for improvement.</li>	<li>Create strategies to engage volunteers across programs and events, promoting inclusivity and community service.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Program Evaluation<ul>	<li>Maintain accurate volunteer records, tracking schedules, assignments, and performance.</li>	<li>Monitor and evaluate volunteer program outcomes, generating reports for internal and external stakeholders.</li>	<li>Ensure compliance with bylaws, regulations, and confidentiality standards, including conducting background checks.</li>	<li>Establish and enforce volunteer policies and procedures to ensure a safe, productive, and positive environment.</li></ul>LIVED EXPERIENCE AND DIVERSITY STATEMENTThe Volunteer Well is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
