The Director will&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;revenue growth through individual giving,&nbsp;government and foundation funding,&nbsp;corporate partnerships, major gifts, planned/legacy giving and earned revenue initiatives, in collaboration with team members dedicated to specific areas of revenue, the board of directors and Fundraising committee.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Director is also responsible for the overall strategy and oversight of prospect,&nbsp;donor&nbsp;and partner relations to enhance the profile and engagement of the CFC with its communities.&nbsp; &nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Advance&nbsp;the mission of the CFC and build a culture of philanthropy with its communities&nbsp; </li><li>Achieve the CFC’s revenue goals through the creation and implementation of a comprehensive and multi-channel revenue generation plan to support growth and&nbsp;impact&nbsp; </li><li>Provide guidance on Marketing &amp; Communications strategy and activities&nbsp;in order to&nbsp;demonstrate&nbsp;the CFC’s impact </li><li>Oversee team processes and develop new ones where needed </li><li>Develop and foster positive key relationships - manage a pipeline of prospects through the cycle of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to grow the portfolio&nbsp; </li><li>Solicit donations/partnerships/grants to drive and sustain revenue sources over multiple years for the organization&nbsp; </li><li>Create new and innovative ideas and initiatives tied to the CFC’s strategic plan to engage new audiences,&nbsp;prospects&nbsp;and alumni to enhance engagement&nbsp; </li><li>Oversee all donor reporting and budgets and ensure effective&nbsp;information/data/reporting mechanisms are in place - prepare regular reports to the senior team and the Board of Directors on the team’s ability to meet its revenue objectives&nbsp; </li><li>Actively&nbsp;participate&nbsp;in organizational strategic planning and management of a&nbsp;high&nbsp;performing&nbsp;team to grow revenue sources&nbsp; </li><li>Advise the Executive Director on philanthropic activities and opportunities&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate between departments, business units, and other internal groups to ensure an integrated approach to achieve revenue goals&nbsp; </li><li>Fosters an environment of inclusion,&nbsp;cooperation&nbsp;and professionalism&nbsp; </li><li>Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment for&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;new market segments&nbsp; </li><li>Support assigned special projects within budgets and timelines, including annual signature fundraising events&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Over 7 years of proven experience in leading and motivating teams focused on fundraising, business development, and marketing&nbsp;in a results-driven capacity </li><li>Experience cultivating and closing major gifts and successfully managing relationships over time with major donors/partners </li><li>Experience in non-profit marketing and communications or brand storytelling </li><li>Experience in corporate partnerships,&nbsp;establishing&nbsp;brand alignment and creative integration to support organizational objectives </li><li>Experience with fundraising events, implementing new business opportunities </li><li>Experience leading campaigns and managing a pipeline of philanthropic opportunities </li><li>Solutions-oriented,&nbsp;innovative&nbsp;and resourceful </li><li>Outstanding interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage with a broad array of communities </li><li>Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team environment, as well as, independently </li><li>Excellent presentation and sales skills&nbsp;</li></ul>Interested and qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and resume (PDF Format) to&nbsp;<a href="https://canadianfilmcentre.bamboohr.com/careers" target="_blank">https://canadianfilmcentre.bamboohr.com/careers</a> by January 5, 2026, and indicate “Director, Creative Impact” in the subject line.The CFC is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
