Unpaid Volunteer Position
Join our team as a Weekend Networking Session Volunteer and help create a welcoming space where youth can connect, learn about volunteer opportunities, and support the Back-to-School Drive.
What You Will Do:
- Welcome participants and support an icebreaker activity
- Help present current volunteer opportunities and answer questions
- Assist with setting up box-making materials and refreshments
- Support participants as they assemble donation boxes
- Help explain the door-to-door outreach script
- Assist with box drop-offs in the surrounding area, if needed
- Support cleanup and general event operations
What You Will Gain:

Who We’re Looking For:
- Age between 12–30
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of small groups
- Patient, respectful, and supportive when working with seniors
- Ability to guide discussions and encourage participation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail in preparing slides and handouts
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to adapt communication style to different learning needs
- Commitment to completing basic training
- Fluency in English
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if over 18)
