 What Will You Do? 

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, build, and maintain robust and 
scalable web applications using Django for backend and React/Next.js for frontend.

Who Are We Looking For? 

• Proficiency in Python and Django: Strong experience in developing backend 
applications using Python and Django, with a solid understanding of Django ORM, 
views, templates, and RESTful API design. 

• Expertise in React and Next.js in-depth knowledge of React and Next.js for 
building dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces, with a focus on server-side 
rendering and static site generation. 

• Full Stack Development: Proven ability to work across the entire stack, from 
designing and implementing backend services to creating interactive and user-
friendly frontend applications. 

• Version Control and Collaboration: Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab for 
version control, with a collaborative approach to working in a team environment. 

• Database Management: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL,

A S2F Virtual Coach plays a significant role in encouraging children weekly to achieve positive change physically, mentally, and emotionally through fitness and literacy. Coaches help build confidence and motivation within children, while reducing learning gaps and developing a lifelong love of learning.We have two online volunteering opportunities:Our Brainworx! is an online afterschool program for students in grades 1-6 and runs twice a week between Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, for 30-40 minutes each session. We focus on physical activity, literacy, and social-emotional development. Each group has 10-12 students and 3-4 coaches. Our Brainworx program has various start times between 3:30pm - 6:30pm EST.The Junior Coach Leadership Program is an online afterschool program for students in grades 7 and 8. It runs on Mondays afterschool for 1 hour and focuses on developing students’ leadership skills, while still incorporating physical activity and literacy. Role: Outreach Coordinator-RemoteThe Outreach Coordinator (OC) supports the Administrative and Project Coordinator and Executive Director (ED) meet partnership objectives. The Outreach Coordinators will perform community outreach responsibilities on behalf of Common Compass. Their job is to maintain relationships with key contacts to coordinate new program information and fundraisers or other community programs. This includes making phone calls to potential school partners, potential donors and other partners and collaborators at Common Compass. Throughout the day, they reach out to members of the community to discuss program details by making phone calls and sending emails.Ingredients for Success✔ &nbsp;Communication skills: Both verbal and in writing to inform and persuade donors, schools and people in thecommunity of the organization’s purpose. o Comfortable with making cold calls and speaking with new people while relaying information in a kindand positive way. o Ability to speak and write in a professional tone.✔ &nbsp;Desire to connect with people: As the Outreach Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to communicatewith people whether it be through writing or over the phone.
