Job Description:

The role of Public Relations & Community Outreach Coordinator involves strengthening our public presence, expanding community engagement, and elevating our voice across the housing, accessibility, and social impact sectors. As part of the team, the professionals will support strategic communications, outreach initiatives, storytelling, public engagement, and partnership development to help position LandSeed as a trusted, innovative, and mission-driven organization. The ideal candidate plays a key role in increasing brand awareness, fostering relationships with community stakeholders, shaping public conversations and communicating the impact of our work through compelling and authentic engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support public relations and outreach initiatives
  • Help strengthen LandSeed’s public presence and community visibility
  • Build relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and aligned networks
  • Assist with campaigns, messaging, storytelling, and engagement efforts
  • Research speaking opportunities, events, partnerships, and media opportunities
  • Help communicate LandSeed’s vision, projects, and impact to broader audiences.

Required Experience / Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Experience & Skills:

  • Preferably 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Creative thinker with strong initiative and ownership
  • Interest in public relations, communications, advocacy, media, or community engagement
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Passion for meaningful work and community impact
  • Advanced education or professional development in strategic marketing, narrative development, or mission-driven work is a plus.
