This is an opportunity for a dedicated individual who is ready to take on a variety of responsibilities as a lead staff member in the delivery of association events and member services.&nbsp;The scheduling and preparation of communications materials including social media posts and website updates are also an important part of the position mandate.&nbsp;The coordinator must be well-organized and resourceful and willing to grow in all aspects of association management as they work with a small team of peers offering professional support to elected leaders and committee members.Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Monitoring and administering association procedures and centralization of official files and documents. </li><li>Delivery of member services as administration lead and contact for directors and committee members.</li><li>Managing integrated databases for membership maintenance, renewals and marketing to prospective members.</li><li>Attending meetings and serving as key staff support to assigned committees, with responsibility for minute taking and follow up on actionable items</li><li>Program development, promotion and delivery of successful Association events.</li><li>Preparation and release of regular communication to members and stakeholders on association services and events via email, social media and current web postings.</li><li>Staff lead for the planning, coordination and promotion of annual events and intervening educational programs, management of registration and on-site/virtual delivery for each event.&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Demonstrated ability in administrative or association management roles</li><li>Tact and diplomacy when interacting with senior level professionals and working with association directors and/or committees</li><li>Exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in relationship building.</li><li>Strong decision-making skills, including problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.</li><li>Detail orientated with an understanding of the importance of accuracy in day-to-day administration and delivery of member services.</li><li>Highly organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while working independently and as a team member.</li><li>Experience in use of social media platforms, web management and the development of quality association communication programs&nbsp;and organization branding.</li></ul>Education:&nbsp;&nbsp;University or college degree in business administration, NFP management or equivalent education&nbsp;Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration and meeting planning and management.Language:&nbsp;&nbsp;Fluency in English is essential. &nbsp;Fluence or proficiency in the French language an asset.Working Conditions: &nbsp;There will be occasional weekend meetings as well as travel within Canada.
