We host events every other month to support people in building confidence, clarity, and practical skills for their careers.

Role summary

Key responsibilities

The volunteer will:

  • Speaker sourcing and communication
    • Help identify potential speakers or facilitators aligned with Dunavox’s mission.
    • Reach out to speakers with clear information about the event.
    • Coordinate speaker confirmations and basic follow-up details.
  • Content planning & social media support
    • Draft simple promotional copy for workshop announcements (e.g., captions, short blurbs).
    • Create basic graphics using tools like Canva (templates can be provided).
    • Prepare a mini content plan for promoting each workshop over a few posts.
    • No daily posting is required, just consistent promotion before each event.
  • Participant engagement & follow-up
    • Assist with sending pre-event reminders and joining instructions.
    • Help collect feedback after each workshop (short survey or form).
    • Support simple follow-up messages or thank-you notes to participants and speakers.

  • Good written communication skills.
  • Comfort using basic digital tools (email, Google Docs/Sheets, Canva or similar).

  • Able to commit to supporting events every other month and some preparation time in between.

Time commitment

  • Approximately 4–6 hours per month, with slightly more time in the month of each workshop.
