Board Director
Board Director for Wycliffe Canada
About the Organization:
At Wycliffe Canada, we believe God has spoken—and continues to speak—through His Word, the Bible. The Scriptures point to Jesus, the source of life, restoration, and salvation. Bible translation opens the way for people everywhere to meaningfully engage with God’s Word in their heart language—whether in written form, sign language, oral storytelling, audio Scriptures, or video.
As part of the Wycliffe Global Alliance, we join a worldwide movement advancing Bible translation, literacy, capacity-building, and activities that encourage Scripture engagement. Working with national partners, we aim to foster local ownership, long-term sustainability, and greater impact for language projects.
With more than 400 staff and volunteers serving in Canada and overseas, Wycliffe Canada is currently engaged in Scripture-related activities for 235 language groups in 38 countries, while also partnering with Canadians to support over 30 additional language projects around the world.
