The primary role of a New Collar Collective Supplies Coordinator is to provide supplies such as: food, crates, harnesses and more, to each foster. Supplies coordinators will actively work with the Foster and Intake teams to address the specific needs of each animal that comes into the care of NCC, and will work with the fosters directly to obtain the necessary supplies. Though not strictly necessary, it is preferred that the individual in this role has regular access to a vehicle.

Time Commitment: 4 - 5 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a detailed inventory list of each supply that New Collar Collective acquires, and where those supplies are housed at any point in time
• Ensuring that fosters have the supplies they need before an animal is in their care
• Maintaining a neat and tidy storage unit
• Sourcing donations of supplies and organizing pick-ups/drop-offs for these
• Organizing pick up/drop offs for fosters looking to return their supplies
• Responding to supplies requests from active fosters (i.e. crate size changes, food requests, etc.)

• Proximity or willingness to travel (sometimes on short notice) to our main storage facility near 400/401

  Qualifications:

• Be a team player, and demonstrate strong ethics, consistency, and fairness
• Understand our supplies needs as an organization and accept or decline donations based on these. Though all donations are generous, not all suit our needs.
• Maintain a positive and calm attitude under stressful or emotional situations
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task in an ever-changing environment
• Be available to deal with urgent situations as they arise and pre-arrange coverage with another supplies coordinator if you’re unavailable. While most supplies requests are not urgent, occasionally an emergency presents itself.
• Check and respond to emails several times per day to respond to team members and the foster community
