YRES Team RoboNova (LEGO Robotics) Assistant

York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES Team RoboNova (LEGO Robotics) Camp Assistant —someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves working with children and youth.

The YRES Team RoboNova (LEGO Robotics) Camp Assistant is responsible for:

• Arriving independently to the camp on-time and in professional attire
• Assisting camp instructors with robotics and STEM-related activities
• Supporting students during LEGO robotics workshops and activities
• Helping supervise campers in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
• Assisting with set-up, clean-up, and organization of camp materials and inventory
• Providing feedback on camp activities and student engagement
