YRES Event Support Assistant (Carrville Mills Public School Mental Health Workshop)

York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES Brand Ambassador—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing.

The YRES Brand Ambassador is responsible for:

- Facilitating conversation with participants
- Setting up for the event and helping with take down of materials
- Arriving to the event on-time and in professional attire
- Preparing materials for activities and ensuring inventory is accounted for
- Displaying a warm and friendly disposition to attendees
- Providing direct support to event leads on site

Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum age: 12
- Able to independently arrive to work on time
- Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn
- Can commit to scheduled time of the shift
- Fluency in English
- Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
