Volunteer Title: Youth Advisory Council

Expected Hours: 3 hours per month

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Yukon Territory and Alberta

Organization Overview:

Ever Active is a registered national charity based in Alberta that is focused on the well-being of children and youth. Our vision is for thriving schools and communities where children and youth grow, learn, and belong. Our mission is to lead, activate, and build capacity for settings that nurture health and well-being. We value relationships and well-being, which are at the heart of who we are and all we do. The values of inclusion, growth, community, voice, and kindness are also closely held and guide our work forward in a good way. We don’t know all the answers but we’re listening, learning, and growing.

Who we’re looking for?

• Youth aged 15–25 who are excited to get involved and make a difference
• People who want to share their ideas, perspectives, and lived experiences
• Youth who care about issues like jobs, education, and mental and physical health
• Those who are open to learning, collaborating, and connecting with others
• Anyone ready to speak up and help shape conversations that impact young people

• Any experience or interest in wellness, health, or education is a bonus

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be 15-25 years of age
• Seeking applicants who reside in Alberta and Yukon Territory
• Passionate for community wellness, development, and sharing youths perspectives
