Woodside Square Volunteer - Chinese Radiothon

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) Foundation’s annual Chinese Radiothon has become a signature event within the Chinese community in Scarborough and beyond. Each year, the Chinese community comes together to support the critical healthcare services provided by SHN’s hospitals. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, this annual event has raised over $1.7 million for Scarborough hospitals - Birchmount, Centenary, and General. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help us in our offsite location.

Date: Friday, April 17th, 2026

Time: 9am - 6pm (TBC)

Location: Food Court, Woodside Square (1571 Sandhurst Circle, Scarborough ON M1V 1V2)

Parking: Free

Refreshments: Provided

Attire: Comfortable pants and shoes, Volunteer t-shirt provided

Duties: Speak with donors, collect donations (cash and card), take down donors information on donations forms (for tax receipting)

Asset: Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese preferred, but Mandarin as well)
