
Webflow Designer
Position Overview
The Webflow Designer is a creative volunteer role supporting EVENforONE’s survivor-led, trauma-informed mission to prevent human trafficking and support survivors. This role blends web design, UX/UI, and minor Webflow development to maintain and enhance our website. You’ll help ensure our website is visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand while improving navigation, accessibility, and overall user experience. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about web design, creativity for social good, and making a meaningful impact online.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the website in Webflow with a focus on clear navigation, user experience, and clean aesthetics
- Design wireframes, layouts, and page structures that are visually appealing and easy to navigate
- Implement minor custom code to support design functionality as needed
- Ensure website content is consistent with brand guidelines, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered
- Collaborate with the team on campaigns, site updates, and digital initiatives
- Optimize website performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
- Provide input on site analytics to improve user experience and engagement
Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and building websites in Webflow
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, wireframing, and clean navigation
- Strong graphic design skills with a good eye for detail, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Familiarity with minor custom code (HTML/CSS/JS) in Webflow
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices for web content.
- Reliable, collaborative, and able to work effectively with diverse teams
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Passion for human rights, social justice, and ethical storytelling
- Must acquire and pass a background check
Training & Support Provided
- Orientation on branding and survivor-centered communication
- Access to Webflow tools, templates, and design resources
- Regular communication with and support from the supervisor (COO)
