Professional Alliance for Development Ethiopia (PADet) is a local non-governmental
organization committed to improving the well-being of children, youth, and women. PADet
implements participatory and sustainable development projects focused on:
- Sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS prevention
- Child safeguarding and development
- Sustainable food systems and youth livelihoods
- Gender equality and women’s empowerment
Position Overview:
PADet is seeking a skilled Web Developer (Volunteer) to support the development, maintenance,
and enhancement of its organizational website. The role includes collaboration with PADet’s
management team, a volunteer team, and an volunteer international web developer. This is a
non-paid volunteer position, ideal for individuals looking to contribute to social impact while
gaining experience with NGO-level digital infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify weaknesses or gaps in PADet’s current website and propose improvements for a
new website
- Collaborate with an international web development volunteer to design and develop a
new organizational website that meets the standards of international NGOs
- Regularly update the current website (www.padet.org) with relevant documents during
the development of the new website
- Coordinate with local and international team members to gather content and feedback
- Commit of 5 hours per week to fulfill the responsibilities of this role
