What you will do

  • Design, update, and maintain the Samawada website to ensure a professional, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive experience.
  • Collaborate with the communications and fundraising teams to create engaging visuals and web pages for campaigns, events, and reports.
  • Implement best practices in accessibility, SEO, and security to improve visibility and trust.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, ensure website functionality, and regularly update content.
  • Support integration of donation platforms, forms, and interactive features that enhance donor engagement.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in web design and development (WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) are an asset.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
  • Experience with non-profits or social causes is an asset but not required.
