Volunteer Treasurer

Summary: Volunteer Treasurer (m/f/d) position for Bonus Stage Talent Guild, a nonprofit society. This is a volunteer role with no specified salary, located in Western Canada.

About us

Bonus Stage Talent Guild is a nonprofit society promoting and creating opportunities for video-game-inspired performance art and culture. Bonus Stage has been organizing events for nerdy entertainers and entertainees since 2015. What started as an annual variety show with video-game-inspired musical, comedy and burlesque acts has blossomed into a bevvy of nerdy events in cities across Western Canada.

What you will do

• Manage and oversee all financial aspects of the organization.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets for events and organizational activities.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations.
• Work closely with other board members to support the organization's mission and goals.

What we are looking for

• Required: Experience in financial management or accounting.
• Required: Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Optional: Passion for video-game-inspired arts and culture.
• Optional: Previous experience with nonprofit organizations.
