Volunteer Spanish Teacher

York West Active Living Centre (YWALC) is a community based resource Centre for people 55 years of age and older. YWALC has been serving the Weston community for over 40 years.

We are looking for a volunteer who can teach ultimate beginners Spanish to a small class every Tuesday between 10:45 and 11:45 am

Skills required:

• Fluent in Spanish and English (Spanish class for English speaking persons)
• Enjoying working with older adults
• Creative
• Able to resource information
• Punctual and reliable

Teaching languages to older adults is an amazing experience who enrich your resume as well as your personal life. Our language classes are full of enthusiastic people and the environment is relaxed and fun. The classes are in person in the center (1901 Weston Road).
