Position Title: Volunteer Services Recruiter Placement

Placement Type: Hybrid

Location: 3333 Finch Ave East

Start Date: Tuesday, September 02, 2025

End Date: Friday, December 19, 2025

Placement Hours: Monday – Friday 10:30am – 6:30pm

Reports to: Volunteer Services Coordinator


Responsibilities: 

• Assists in recruitment and hiring process

• Completes administrative duties for Volunteer Services Department

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Must be enrolled in a Human Resources Management diploma, degree, or certificate program with a recognized college or university.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Drive

• Organization skills and accurate filing and record keeping

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

• verbal and written communication skills

• Interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-cultural team.

 
Working Conditions:

• Primarily office environment, common facility areas (indoor /outdoor)

• Sitting in front of the computer terminal for long periods of time

• May have frequent work interruptions

Supervision and Evaluation:

• Supervision and support will be provided by the Volunteer Services Coordinator.

Other: 

• Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program

• Vulnerable Service Sector Check screening required. 

• Proof of full vaccination or Medical Exemption Certificate

• Must be 18 years or older.
