Sales Coach Information
We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to inspire and coach our volunteer team to sell BeBot services (beach cleaning robots). You’ll help volunteers (many new to sales) learn how to confidently connect with municipal, commercial, and governmental partners, build relationships, and sell our beach-cleaning services. Your expertise will help shape an ethical, effective sales process that drives real environmental impact—creating cleaner, healthier coastlines for communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach volunteers in sales fundamentals: prospecting, lead qualification, relationship building, and closing.
- Advise on approaching municipalities, public-sector buyers, and landscaping companies, including understanding RFPs, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements.
- Provide feedback on sales materials (presentations, emails, proposals).
- Conduct or lead occasional workshops or mock sales sessions to build confidence and skills.
- Help establish simple, sustainable sales processes and tracking tools for the team.
- Support volunteers in aligning sales messaging with the organization’s environmental mission and values.
What You’ll Gain
- The opportunity to make a tangible environmental and social impact.
- A chance to share your professional expertise and empower others.
- A network of like-minded environmental advocates and innovators.
- Recognition as part of a growing movement for cleaner, healthier coasts.
Time Required
We would like someone who can mentor the team for at least 5 months; attending at least one weekly meeting with the group to start. Once team members have a clear understanding of what’s needed, monthly meetings with the team may suffice. More time would be needed upfront to understand the Clean Shores mission and BeBot.
