ZAKKI is a non-profit organization dedicated to building inclusive communities and empowering elderly individuals and people with disabilities in Indonesia. Through micro-business management and increased market exposure, we aim to improve livelihoods for underserved communities.

Our online platform, available via web and mobile, facilitates donations and support for individuals in the informal sector. Explore our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) at www.zakki.org as we redesign and prepare for a fully functional release in the coming years.

ZAKKI is powered by UNPAID volunteers from diverse backgrounds across Indonesia and abroad. Contributions to ZAKKI can be added to your professional portfolio. Proficiency in English is required for team communication.

• Naon: Anti-corruption and lost-and-found solutions.
• Agni: Funeral services support.
• Rekan: A volunteer networking and learning hub.
• MAHA EduGame: Anti-discrimination games for toddlers and preteens.
• Kimar: A marketplace promoting microbusiness exposure for beneficiaries.

UI/UX Volunteer Role

We are seeking passionate UI/UX designers to help us create a Progressive Web App (PWA) and mobile applications. Your designs will directly support the development efforts of our software developer volunteers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with wireframe tools (e.g., Figma).
• Strong ideation and teamwork skills with an initiative-driven mindset.
• Active, collaborative, and communicative individuals (not passive).
• Effective time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Front-End Development (HTML, CSS) and/or Game Development Platforms (Ionic, PyGame, Unity, C++, Java) is a plus.
