
Volunteer Recruiter
The Impact Ambassadors Community (TIA) is seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven Volunteer Recruiter to support the sourcing, screening, and selection of volunteers across our programs and initiatives.
This role plays an important part in helping TIA attract talented individuals who are passionate about leadership development, community impact, and purpose-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
• Support the sourcing and recruitment of volunteers for various TIA programs and initiatives
• Promote volunteer opportunities through professional networks and community platforms
• Review applications and assess candidates based on role requirements and alignment with TIA’s values
• Participate in candidate screening conversations and assist with volunteer selection
Candidate Engagement
• Help build and maintain a pipeline of potential volunteers
• Support outreach initiatives to attract diverse and skilled applicants
• Assist with volunteer information sessions and recruitment communications
Collaboration
• Work closely with the leadership team to support recruitment timelines and volunteer onboarding
• Assist with coordinating candidate communications and recruitment logistics
Qualifications
Commitment:
Ability to dedicate approximately 3–5 hours per week and commit to the role for at least one year. This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Experience:
Previous experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, HR, or volunteer coordination is preferred. Experience recruiting volunteers or working within nonprofit or community organizations is an asset.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote volunteer environment
