VOLUNTEER POSITION: Crew Leader - Build Site

What you need to know about becoming part of the Build Team:

• Volunteers are required to have some build experience.
• Onsite training is provided by our skilled Site Supervisor and experienced Crew Leaders.
• All necessary Personal Protective Equipment is available for volunteers.
• We build year round, Monday to Friday, from 7: 30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and are self-scheduled via online registration.
• Time Commitment: We request a commitment of two shifts per month as part of the Crew Leader program. Training may require once per week.

Crew Leader Role:

A Crew Leader is a key volunteer leader on Habitat build sites who:

• Guides and supports volunteers during construction activities.
• Ensures safety and quality by following Habitat’s building standards and safety protocols.
• Acts as a liaison between site supervisors and volunteers, helping with communication and task coordination.
• Mentors volunteers, creating a positive and productive experience that encourages return participation.
