Volunteer Outreach Worker is needed

Are you interested in Community Engagement or helping us with providing

Advocacy and Community Connections Service to Immigrants and Newcomers?

Please join us at KLHIISA. We are Incorporated Non-Profit Organization serving

Immigrants and Newcomers in the Kawartha Lakes Region and Haliburton

Counties.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications

• Grade 12 and above (Some Post Secondary Education or College/University

Diploma is preferred)

• Willingness to assist Newcomers and Immigrants by providing information

about the local resources and services that will help them with successful

community integration and Settlement

• Knowledge of the local resources, places that newcomers can get help with

housing, legal service, health care, social services, education and training

• Administrative work experience or knowledge of how to use a computer

efficiently

• Social Media Skills and Content Creation
