🔹 About PMV

Project Management Volunteers (PMV) is a not-for-profit organization connecting skilled project management professionals with charities, non-profits, and social impact initiatives. Our Vancouver Island Chapter (PMV VI) supports local organizations in building capacity through professional project leadership and strategic initiatives.

🔹 Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to help grow our reach across Vancouver Island. This volunteer will be responsible for identifying new partner leads (primarily non-profits and charities), conducting email outreach, and maintaining our contact lists. You will also support our newsletter campaigns, helping us engage and grow our existing network of contacts.

🔹 Key Responsibilities


• Research and identify relevant partner organizations and prospective leads
• Send personalized cold outreach emails to introduce PMV VI's services
• Track outreach status and maintain lead records
• Add converted leads to our Mailchimp database with appropriate tagging
• Collaborate with leadership to improve outreach strategies
• Coordinate or support quarterly email campaigns to our Mailchimp list


• Provide basic performance reporting (e.g., open rates, new contacts added)

🔹 Skills & Experience


• 3–5 years of professional experience in outreach, marketing, communications, or a related field


• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
• Experience with tools like Mailchimp, Google Sheets, and basic CRM workflows
• Passion for non-profit work and community impact
• Bonus: Knowledge of Vancouver Island's non-profit landscape
