
Volunteer Opportunity: National Board Director
Abbeyfield Canada is seeking committed, community-minded leaders to join our National Board of Directors. As a volunteer board member, you will help guide a growing national movement that provides affordable, family-style housing for older adults across Canada.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in:
- Finance or accounting
- Marketing and communications
- Fundraising and development
- Non-profit governance
- Strategic planning or organizational leadership
We also welcome candidates who value Abbeyfield’s commitment to community, dignity, independence, and belonging for older adults.
Abbeyfield Canada is entering an important period of growth, and we are seeking directors who can devote the time, energy, and thoughtful attention required to actively govern a national organization. Effective board leadership includes participation in meetings, committee work, strategic planning, and collaborative decision-making.
