About the Event

Seniors on the Move (SOTM) is a project of Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST), in collaboration with United Way BC, that addresses the unique transportation challenges faced by seniors across the province. Through leadership, engagement, and community connection, SOTM raises awareness of seniors' transportation needs, provides transit training in local communities, and advocates for safer, more accessible options so seniors can remain active and independent in their homes and neighbourhoods.

Guided by our Seniors' Transportation Advocacy Committee, SOTM works to strengthen advocacy efforts and drive meaningful systems change.

This year, The Grand Parade offers an opportunity to walk with purpose — supporting seniors across BC while raising awareness about transportation barriers and solutions.
