Hearts and Mind is a community organization that supports foster parents, kinship caregivers, and their families across Ontario.

We provide emotional, relational, and in-home support through programs that promote wellness, stability, and self-care — helping caregivers create nurturing environments for the children entrusted to them.

About the Opportunity

We are hosting Building You, an empowerment and wellness event celebrating foster parents and kinship caregivers.

We’re looking for a volunteer massage therapist (or student therapist) to offer hand massages during the event — a simple but powerful act of care to help guests relax and recharge.

What You’ll Do

Provide short, seated hand massages (approx. 5–10 minutes per guest).

Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere that supports relaxation and connection.

Collaborate with our team of wellness volunteers (makeup artist, journal artist, affirmation coach, mindfulness guide).

What We Provide

A comfortable setup area with chairs, sanitizer, and basic supplies.

Refreshments and recognition in event materials and social media.

A volunteer service letter (for students, if applicable).

You Are a good Fit if you’re

A licensed or student massage therapist (Massage Therapy or Esthetics program).

Warm, professional, and passionate about community wellness.

Able to bring your own small kit or basic supplies for hand massage.
