Friendly Times Community Connections (FTCC) is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Marketing Coordinator to help raise awareness of our programs supporting children, youth, and families across Toronto, Durham, Peel, and York Region.

About Us FTCC is a registered charitable organization committed to strengthening families through innovative, accessible, and community-centered programs. Our initiatives include family support services, children's programming, crisis response supports, community outreach, and caregiver resources.

Position Overview The Volunteer Marketing Coordinator will support the organization's marketing and communications efforts by helping to increase community engagement, program visibility, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising awareness.

Responsibilities • Create and schedule social media content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) • Design simple graphics using Canva or similar platforms • Assist with promotional campaigns for programs and events • Develop engaging stories highlighting community impact • Support website and newsletter content updates • Research community marketing opportunities and partnerships • Help maintain brand consistency across communications

Qualifications • Experience or interest in marketing, communications, public relations, or social media management • Strong written communication skills • Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools is an asset • Creative, organized, and self-motivated • Passion for supporting children, youth, and families
