About Planet Watch
Planet Watch is a nonprofit, volunteer‑driven environmental education initiative dedicated to making climate literacy accessible for all ages. We create clear, hopeful learning tools, youth‑friendly programs, and a curated online library that helps communities understand climate issues and take meaningful action.
The Role
Maintain, organize, and analyze all applicant and volunteer information to support smooth recruitment, onboarding, and team coordination. This role ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and translated into clear insights that help leadership understand volunteer capacity, trends, and needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Record and maintain all applicant and volunteer data in monday.com
• Track volunteer status (applied, interviewed, onboarding, active, inactive)
• Create simple dashboards and reports to support decision‑making
• Analyze trends in recruitment, onboarding, and volunteer engagement
• Collaborate with the Recruiter and Onboarding Coordinator to ensure smooth hand‑offs
• Maintain clear documentation for data processes and updates
• Support a positive, collaborative environment for all contributors
Ideal For
A detail‑oriented, analytical thinker who enjoys organizing information, spotting patterns, and turning data into clear, useful insights for teams.
Years of Experience
• 1–3 years in data entry, data analysis, operations support, or related roles • Experience with nonprofit, educational, or environmental initiatives is an asset
• Must be comfortable using monday.com and basic dashboard/reporting tools
Time Commitment
Minimum 4 hours per week.
Eligibility
Candidates must reside in Canada and speak English.
